Pagani should just admit it. They can never let go of the Zonda. If we had a dollar for everytime they said this is the last Zonda, we’d be able to buy one by now. They just sent out this picture you see here, which clearly shows a Zonda, titled “The Revolution.” If you decipher that, you realize that what they actually mean is R Evolution. It’s a new version of the Zonda R.

For those of you who may not remember, the Zonda R was a track version of the exotic super car. It was basically a race car, only it didn’t comply with any rules and regulations. And it wasn’t allowed on most of the world’s top circuits because it breached their sound limit. And it cost a couple of millions of Euros. The Zonda R was, to all intents and purposes, a big expensive toy.

Now there seems to be a new version in the pipeline, and as is the case with Evo models, it is going to be bigger, badder, faster, and even more expensive. Official details are yet to be revealed, but the word is the Zonda R Evo will boast better aerodynamics, less weight, and 50 more horsepower.

Maybe Pagani wants to have another crack at the Nuburgring lap record. The original Zonda R set a blistering time of 6:47 a few years ago.
