Special edition models sell quite well in Japan, which is why BMW and Mercedes-Benz release a new SE version for the land of the Rising Sun every other week. Mercedes is of course more active, expanding this to almost all the models in the range. The latest is the Mercedes ML350 BlueTEC 1st Anniversary Edition.
Limited to 100 units, and priced at ¥8,600,000 which is about 66,000 EUR, the 1st Anniversary ML350 will only be available in in Obsidian Black and Diamond White paint works. Standard is an AMG styling package with unique bumpers and running boards, and 20-inch wheels on the outside, and sport seats, steering wheel, and accessories on the inside. Not to mention the sport pedals, aluminum trims and special floor mats.
Powering the Mercedes ML350 BlueTEC 1st Anniversary is a 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine developing 258 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, mated to a 7G tronic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. Naturally, a limited special edition such as this is fully loaded in terms if features and equipment.
