Ahead of its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the first pictures of the new Citroen Cactus Concept make their way to the web. This chunky crossover looks like a Range Rover Evoque facelifted by Salvador Dali. from the pillar-less doors and plastic body panels, everything about it is absolutely bonkers.
Funky design aside, the Citroen Cactus Concept appears to be quite a functional machine. With a large and airy cabin that has bench seats front and rear, it offers excellent practicality. In terms of technology features, the Cactus is up to date with large a infotainment screen in the middle, digital knobs and dials, and a digital instrument cluster.
That’s they way Citroen does things. Their cars may look insane on the outside, but underneath there is always a practical, usable vehicle. We are quite keen to realize what sort of powertrain they have put in this car. It will probably be a hybrid, possibly the new air-hybrid system.
We will find out soon enough, as the official details of the Citroen Cactus Concept are expected to be released today. Stay tuned.
