The world has already seen the looks of the new BMW M3/M4 through the Concept car BMW revealed at Pebble Beach earlier this year. But here’s your first look at what is the finished production version of the car. It’s been caught by a passer-by who just stumbled upon the car where BMW was shooting a commercial for the new M3.

This particular color is called Yas Marina Blue:

The 2014 BMW M3 Sedan, known as F80, is powered by a turbocharged in-line six engine that replaces the old generation’s 4.0 liter V8. It is a lot more fuel efficient, but there is no compromise on power, as it makes about 30 more horsepower than the outgoing M3.

And in case you still don’t know, the name M3 now belongs to the sedan version of the car only. What you used to know as the BMW M3 Coupe will be known form now on as the M4.
