The next SEMA-bound Hyundai Genesis Coupe – and there is more than a couple of them – is the result of a collaborative effort by Hyundai and tuner John Pangilinan. This car is a mishmash of performance parts from various suppliers, put together to make a powerful yet cost-effective Geni Coupe.
Hyundai Genesis Coupe JP Edition uses AEM cold air intake, ARK Performance exhaust, turbo downpipe, and friction-reducing Lucas Oil. They don’t’ say how much power it makes, but it must be a pretty serious number as they have also fitted the car with KW Variant 3 coil-overs, Whiteline sway bars, and an ARK Performance strut bar.
The wheels on this car are 19-inch MORR VS52 concave mono in black, which contrast the unique BASF Atlantic Blue Metallic paint applied by Auto Explosion. It also gets Brembo Gran Turismo brake kit with oversized 15-inch calipers, and Toyo tires.
The Genesis Coupe JP Edition features a wide body kit designed by Jon Sibal, made from carbon fiber. Inteiror features include RECARO Cross Sportster seats with a custom Katzkin suede and smooth leather treatment, racing harness, GoPro Hero 3 video camera, and an Alpine entertainment system.
