Rappers are not known to be fans of understated luxury. On the contrary, they like to wear their wealth for everyone to see. Even the sophisticated ones like Jay-Z and 50 Cent (or 28p as the Brits call him), are not what you call gentlemanly and dignified.

So it is not surprising to see that the latest hiphop sensation Nicki Minaj has wrapped her recently-acquired Lamborghini Aventador in lipstick pink.

Nicki’s Pink Lamborghini Aventador rock a set of Forgiato wheels that have an equally pink finish as the car, and an equally vulgar look as the rest of the vehicle. Of course, we can’t judge this car, because we don’t understand the hiphop culture. In the hiphop world, it seems to be cool to drive around in ridiculous cars, and wear ridiculous clothes, and rant about how much money you have in your songs.

So long as these rappers produce good music, we don’t really care what sort of atrocity they tend to commit on their cars. We just wish they were a bit more like Eminem, who is no doubt the best rapper of them all, and yet drives factory-stock cars, and wears a Casio G-Shock.
