BMW 2 Series M Performance Kit 600x372 at Rendering: BMW 2 Series M Performance Kit

BMW realized that a lot of people want only the looks of their M cars but not the power. So they came up with the M Performance kits, including visual upgrades, suspension system, wheels, and interior stuff. Here’s what the new 2 Series model would look like with some M bits and bobs.

This is of course a rendering of the yet to be confirmed BMW 2-Series M Performance Kit, but even so, it looks properly hot. The designer has used the 4 Series M Performance as the model and transferred its goodies to the little 2.

The treatment includes M bumpers with large air intakes, gloss black – or carbon fiber – spoiler, side skirts, mirror caps, rear diffuser, and a boot lid spoiler. M Performance Kit could also include sport, lowered suspension, large M design wheels, ECU upgrades, exhaust system, carbon fiber interior trims, special leather treatment, M color stitching, sport seats, and of course, lots and lots of M badges.

BMW 2-Series M Performance Kit looks very tasty, especially if it comes with the 320 hp turbo in-line six engine of the M235i model. It takes the coupe from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds using an 8-speed ZF gearbox or a manual six-speeder.
