Ford released the first pictures of the new Vortech Yellow Jacket Mustang, a supercharged version of the Mustang GT 5.0 finished in, well, yellow, set for debut at the 2013 SEMA show in Las Vegas next month. The car uses the best aftermarket parts available for the ‘Stang.

On the outside they include a 3D Carbon Boy Racer body kit complete with a set of 20-inch iForged wheels with Falken FK453 tires, Webasto sunroof, TruFiber carbon fiber accenting that complement the yellow paint work.

In the chassis department, the Vortech Yellow Jacket Mustang benefits from Maximum Motorsports suspension system and six-piston Baer brakes, so it should handle a lot better than the standard car. That’s a good thing, because of what Vortech has done to the engine.

What they’ve done is fit the 5.0 liter V8 engine with one of their V-3 Si supercharger kits. That, and some other adjustments here and there, results in a huge gain in power. The muscle car has now 605 hp and 473 lb-ft of torque to play with.
