BMW’s M Performance Parts released a number of new, well, M Performance Parts designed and developed exclusively for the new 3 Series Coupe. The range includes items to improve the looks, the interior, the feel and the performance of the car. Although why wouldn’t you just go and buy a full M car instead is anyone’s guess.

Most of the BMW 2 Series M Performance Parts technical upgrades are model specific. For instance, the limited-slip differential and the sport exhaust system with magnificent sound is available only for the M235i high-performance model. The only engine upgrade kit available right now is for the 220d model, boosting the output to 200 s and 420 Nm.

You can order the suspension, wheels, and brake kits for all models, in which case you get 20mm lower ride height, two sets of 19-inch M wheels to choose from, and beefy brakes with red, yellow or orange calipers.

Also available for all models is the styling kit. It includes aerodynamically efficient parts such as front apron, side skirts, and rear diffuser. You can go ahead and order these parts, along with other bits and pieces like the grilles mirror caps, and side stripes, in a contrasting color. But beware that it could be the single most uncool thing you will ever do.

You can go nuts with the interior though, partly because nobody but yourself will see it, and partly because the options available here are all quite awesome. You get an M-specific Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with carbon inserts, carbon gear lever and handbrake handle, carbon trimming, as well as Alcantara inserts on the seats and consoles and sport steel pedals.
