For the true fans of BMW M GmbH, those who refer to each BMW model with its manufacturing code, the German company has come up with a rather special treat. It’s the BMW X6 M Design Edition, available with M Performance decals with stripes in the BMW M colours.
Those decals are optional, which is a good thing, because the rest of the options offered with this model are pretty good. If those decals were standard, they would ruin a good offer. They are seriously uncool, just like the people who like them.
Other exterior features BMW X6 M Design Edition comes with include 21-inch M Performance light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design and carbon elements, blacked-out grilles, mirror caps, and diffuser. Available exterior colors include Alpine White, Sapphire Black or Melbourne Red metallic. Inside, you get a full Merino leather package, including a bicolour instrument panel in Black/Mugello Red with Mugello Red contrast stitching, and piano black trims and an edition-specific badge.
Performance-wise, the BMW X6 M Design Edition is the same as the standard models, meaning you get a 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 engine developing 555 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque, hooked up to a six-speed M sport transmission and an xDrive all-wheel-drive system. Pricing is yet to be announced.
