German tuner of luxury and exotic cars DMC announced they are working on a new styling kit for the Ferrari 458 Italia. The car is designed and is being built by DMC’s Japanese branch based on an order by a local customer, and it’s dubbed the “Estremo” due to the extremeness of its appearance.
DMC Ferrari 458 Estremo features a totally revised front-end design with extreme air channels for better cooling and downforce. Somehow DMC engineers managed to improve on the work of Ferrari engineers here. There is also a new vented carbon fiber hood that gives the 458 a whole new look, new side skirts that help with the air flow, and a revised rear fascia with a carbon fiber diffuser and a big rear wing.
The Estremo is 60 kg lighter than the standard Ferrari 458 thanks to the extensive use carbon fiber. No words yet on any performance or interior upgrades, though.
Seeing as DMC Ferrari 458 Estremo is being prepared in Japan, chances are we will see an example of it at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.
