As a showcase of their capabilities, German tuner 2M-Designs decided to take a benign Jaguar XF Diesel and turn it into something substantially different, and quite a bit more exhilarating. Judging by the performance figures they are claiming, and they the car looks, we have to say job done.

Jaguar XF by 2M-Designs is equipped a 3.0 D-S bi-turbo coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which makes 275 horsepower in its standard factory tune. When 2M is through with it though, that number goes up to 340.

The extra oomph has a profound effect on the way the XF gets down the road. Zero to 100 km/h now takes 5.4 seconds, and it can reach a top speed of 280 km/h. Not bad going for a fairly large four-door diesel saloon.

In the chassis department Jaguar XF by 2M-Designs gets Eibach suspension with 35mm lowered ride height, and a set of 21-inch wheels with 255/30ZR21 tires on front and 295/35ZR21 on the back. Those should take care of the handling.

Visually, the car is fitted with a brilliant PWF Diamond White foil, garnished with gloss black grilles and vents, wheels, mirror caps, rear decklid, as well as tinted windows and a custom Loder1899 rear diffuser with four tailpipes.
