DreamWorks and the NeedForSpeed team from Electronic Arts released a full length trailer for the upcoming Need For Speed Movie, starring Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, and Kid Cudi. The film is an adaption of the more recent series of NFS video games and revolves around illegal street racing.
So if you like fast cars, high-speed chases, and lots of explosions, this is the film for you. If, on the other hand, you watch a movie for its plot, you probably are not going to like it.
The trailer certainly looks pretty exciting. Aaron Paul, the famous meth head from Breaking Bad, plays a convincing muscle car mechanic and street racer named Tobey. He’s just got out of the prison and is seeking revenge. The film features many exotic cars, including the likes the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, Bugatti Veyron SS, and McLaren P1.
The thing is, almost all the exotic cars you see here – with the exception of the hero Mustang – are kit cars designed to look like million dollar hyper cars. That’s why they wreck them so mercilessly.
The Need For Speed movie will be released on March 14, 2014.
