Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Debuts on Italian Aircraft Carrier

Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Debut 0 600x413 at Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Debuts on Italian Aircraft Carrier

As befits a brand like Lamborhgini and a car like the Veneno Roadster, the Italian car maker managed to secure a spot on the Italian naval aircraft carrier Nave Cavour, so the car can make debut in style. They took the carrier to the coast of Abu Dhabi, where a number of potential buyers got to view the car in person.

During this exclusive ‘Italian evening’ attended by authorities, clients, VIPs and media, the super exclusive Lamborghini Veneno Roadster showed off its unashamedly weird, but undeniably impressive styling on the flight deck of the Nave Cavour, docked in Abu Dhabi’s Mina Zayed port.

The extravagant debut was not just for the sake of show either. Such elaborate stunt was needed to encourage people with massive bank accounts, and mental age of a small boy, to write a check for 3.3 million euro hyper car, of which only 9 will be made.

Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is an Aventador underneath, featuring a v12 engine with a maximum power output of 552 kW / 750 hp. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 355 km/h. The exterior color is bespoke to the customers, but the majority of the buyers will probably go for this Rosso Veneno you see here.

Among the most distinguished guests at the Veneno event there were Giorgio Starace, Italian Ambassador to the UAE and the Admiral of High Seas Forces, Paolo Treu, Corrado Corti of Italy’s famous Hotel Splendido, Singer and actress Elena Bonelli, fashion designer Giada Curti, and former captain of the national Italian soccer team and 2006 world champion Fabio Cannavaro.
