The existing Chrysler 200 is a shabby old thing that has nothing going for it. It is not pleasant to look at, nor is it fun to drive. It’s a dreadful piece of junk, to be explicit. Now though, things are about to take a turn for the better, as the leaked picture you see above reveals the face of the new generation 2015 Chrysler 200.
Granted, it is not that brilliant either – at least not by European standard. It has a face that would be considered cool in 1980s, and lots of chrome work round its nose and mouth, which is such a terrible old cliché. But we think it looks rather nice! Instead of trying – fruitlessly we might add – to do what everybody else is doing and create a sleek and handsome sedan, Chrysler went its own way and came up with a truly unique look for the new 200. It gives the car character, and that is what makes it cool. And that retro flavor, well, that’s actually quite refreshing; a breath of fresh air, if you will, in a world of pointy, aerodynamic-obsessed sedans.
As for the technicalities, the 2015 Chrysler 200 will come with a standard nine-speed automatic transmission that significantly improves fuel economy, regardless of what engine you pair it to. An intelligent all-wheel-drive system will also be available as an option.
