The Silverado pickup truck was the most eligible new Chevrolet to star in their 2014 Super Bowl commercial. It is not as exciting as the Corvette and the Camaro and the SS, but it outsells them all put together. The way they put the truck’s capabilities in perspective though, well, it’s not very nice.
I mean, the ad starts out with a young man driving around with his cow in the trailer, while a narrator talks about bachelors and romance and stuff. It is rather disturbing, to say the least. Not to worry though. There is a happy ending here… somewhere.

The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Super Bowl commercial continues the theme set by previous ads, which is to promote the truck as a farmer’s best friend. And it is, actually; especially the new 2015 Silverado HD, featuring the available Duramax diesel engine and the legendary Allison transmission. It’s just that they have a weird way of promoting it!
