Celebrities getting busted for driving under influence is nothing new. It happens so often nobody really cares about it anymore. But this is probably the first time a celeb is arrested for SRUI. That’s Street Racing Under Influence, which we just made up, and the celeb in question is no other than Justin Beiber.
Beiber was reportedly stopped by cops in Miami Beach for drag racing his Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder and found to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The singer was also charged with resisting arrest, and driving around with an expired license. So nice going there!
Justin Bieber was accompanied at the time with model and professional celebrity dater Cahntel Jeffries, and was racing a Def Jam rapper called Khalil in a Ferrari 16M. They’ve been all partying together at SET nightclub.
The teen singer is now free, having paid a $2,500 bail. While leaving the prison, Beiber climbed on top of his SUV and waved heroically to his fans, proving once again that as far as role models go, celebrities are pretty crappy examples.
