The 2014 Mercedes C-Class is not exactly hot news, as it’s been revealed a while back and everybody knows about its details already. But the car just made it official public debut at the Detroit Auto Show with much pump and circumstance. So we thought we bring you some photo of the unveiling event.
And just to recap, let us go through some of the more important details once more. The new Mercedes C-Class is slightly larger than its predecessor and is inspired, rather heavily, by the new S-Class in its design. In fact, you could call it a baby S-Class for people who cannot afford the fully grown up one.
The C-Class is a damn impressive car in its own right though, boasting a whole host of amazing advanced safety and convenience features, and a luxurious interior that is miles better than the old model and is made from much higher quality materials.
The 2014 Mercedes C-Class launches with three engines, including two petrol units – a 1.6 and a 2.0 liter, with 156-hp and 185-hp respectively – and a 2.2 liter diesel producing 170 horsepower. The choice of transmission includes a six-speed manual and a 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic.
Enough details, let’s check out the pictures:
