At this year’s Geneva Motor Show Citroen will unveil a new generation of its tiny city car, the C1. By the looks of things though, they are not confident that car is going to get a lot of attention. So along with the standard car, they are bringing a concept version of it called Swiss & Me, showcasing the C1’s personalization possibilities.
As the name clearly suggests, Citroen C1 Swiss & Me pays tribute to Switzerland and the city of Geneva in particular. To this end, the car features the Citroen C1 Swiss & Me in form of a white body and red roof and side mirrors.
The car also gets wing extensions, large wheels and a central tailpipe, emphasizing, according to Citroen, the on-road performance of the C1.
The new red bits added to the concept car are not enough to cover the fact that the Citroen C1 has a terrible face. The new headlight arrangement gives the car a look that is very, very hard to like. Apart from that, the C1 is a decent, well-equipped city runabout powered by either a 1.0-liter e-VTi with 68 hp or a 1.2-liter PureTech VTi developing 82 hp.
