Tuners usually have very talented designers at their disposal who can design a body kit, fit it and test it on the vehicle, all virtually inside a computer. Now Mercedes specialist VATH decided to use the talent of their designers for something a bit more interesting: a new variant of an existing model.

It is the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake they are proposing in this rendering, a car that is in the pipeline for future launch. VATH’s design borrows styling cues of the CLS Shooting Brake and mixes them up with the CLA body, which is, in essence, a baby CLS itself.

The result is a pretty interesting little car, offering the sexy coupe-like looks of the CLA and the practicality of a small wagon. While they were at it, VATH also went ahead and added a few tuning bits to the car as well, such as a set of sport wheels and lowered suspension.

The model rendered here appears to the AMG version of Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake, featuring sport bumpers with large air intakes at the front and a diffuser and quad tailpipe design at the back.
