These rather tragic pictures you see here shows a matte black Lamborghini Aventador half wrecked after a crash on Sloane Street in Knightsbridge, London. And as you can notice, the thing looks good even in this dismal state. If anything, it is now attracting a bigger crowd!
According to unconfirmed reports from the scene of the accident, the owners of this Lamborghini Aventador was racing a Maserati in a typical Knightsbridge super car showdown when he hit a Mazda 5 pulling out of a junction. That wasn’t the end of it though, as the Lambo then smashed into a parked BMW 3-Series on the other side.
The damage to the other cars was not substantial, but the Aventador is going to cost its owner an arm and a leg to fix. One front bumper, one headlight, two front wings, suspension links on the right side, and whatever is damaged beneath the skin, will make for a pretty fat repair bill.
Knightsbridge, as you may know, has become a sort of hotspot for super car owners – most of wealthy foreigners – to come and show off their rides, hit on women, and annoy the residents. So if you see the hand of Karma in all this, that is the reason.
There is also a lesson here for all Knightsbridge curb crawlers. You want to attract attention to your cars, right? Forget chrome wraps and loud exhausts – go crash it. You get a much bigger audience this way. Just look at the crowd around this Aventador.
