Slightly Mad Studios, the same slightly mad guys who have brought to you many successful racing games such as GTR, GT Legends, BMW M3 Challenge, Need For Speed, Test Drive, and more recently Project Cars, announced a new franchise called World of Speed. It is a racing game with a difference, as it promises to be action-packed.

You still get to race a lot of people in World of Speed, but you are no longer confined to a race track. Yu get to drive exotic cars across real world circuits and tracks carved from the streets of real world cities including London, Monaco and Moscow. That is more like it. As much as we like a good racing simulator, there is no denying they become boring rather quickly. The World of Speed, by the looks of it, offers a lot more fun:

World of Speed is a mission-based game, meaning the victor will be the player – or the players, as you can team up with friends and other players to form Clubs – who accomplishes a task sooner. Features of the game enables the players to customize their logos, earn access to a Club garage social hub, compete against other clubs, show off in the Airfield Playground and battle in high-stakes races in Territory Wars. The game also seems to boast an impressive lineup of sports and super cars.
