Photos and videos of the new Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe are slowly hitting the web, giving us a better look at the German luxuromobile. This one captures a black S63 Coupe parked in a disinterested way on the side of the road. It looks good though, even if a little chubby. Good job it’s got the power to cope with all that weight.
2015 Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe has not been officially launched yet, so this is probably a pre-production unit sent out for testing purposes. The trimming and detailing on the car you’ll soon be able to buy might differ from what you see here.
Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe is powered by a 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine developing 430 kW (585 hp) and 900 Nm of torque. Performance-oriented AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive is available as an option, but you should get it because it enables insane acceleration. The car also gets the world’s first curve tilting function, part of the MAGIC BODY CONTROL suspension system, to further enhance both driving pleasure and comfort.
The S63 AMG Coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 to 4.3 seconds, depending on model variant, and goes on to reach a top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited).
