Volkswagen announced the launch of new R-Line packages for the latest versions of the Golf Variant and Scirocco models. The R-Line has to do with special exterior and interior appointments and has a profound effect on the vehicles appearance. But it does not include any performance upgrades.
In case of the Golf Variant R-Line, the estate car gets special front and rear bumpers, ventilation grille black and sport radiator grille, side skirts, twin exhaust tailpipes in back, rear diffuser, and a rear spoiler. These are the bits you get on the outside.
Moving inside, you will find R-Line leather steering wheel with leather and contrast stitching, sports seats, steel pedals, Piano black trimming on the console and instruments, Still sill plates, suede and cloth upholstery, and a couple of R-Line badges.
As for the Scirocco R-Line, the package offers the same sort of goodies, including R-Line front and rear bumpers, flared arches, and new spoilers, along with a set of 18-inch wheels. Inside, the car is fitted with black headliner, Alcantara and fabric upholstery, leather-clad steering wheel with grey stitching, steel sill plates and pedal covers, and Piano black trims.
