Along with the 2015 FR-S, Scion is also launching an updated version of the tC Coupe. As with the FR-S, the improvements are somewhat limited. The biggest highlight of 2015 Scion tC is the addition of steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters for the automatic transmission.
Other changes include the addition of two new colors; Cosmic Gray replaces Classic Silver and Super White has been replaced by Blizzard Pearl, which is available for an additional $395 fee. That is about it really, as the interior, options list, and mechanical bits remain untouched in this treatment.
Scion tC is powered by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine with 179 horsepower. It can be had with either with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic that can change gears nearly twice as fast as before thanks to Dynamic Rev Management technology adopted from the FR-S.
Prices for the 2015 Scion tC start from $19,210 for the manual and $20,360 for the automatic version.
