Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro is a concept car the German auto maker has made for this year’s Worthersee GTI meeting. Since its introduction, there have been countless renderings applying Clubsport styling features to normal Audi models, which goes to show that the design of the concept car was a success and that Audi should consider making it.
While Audi ponders that, let’s check out the latest Clubsport-inspired model, an Audi RS3 Cabriolet, dreamed up by designer Theophilus Chin. Audi has not announced any plans to launch a convertible RS3, although there is a new RS3 in the works for 2015. But it is nice to see that if they do make such a thing, it is going to look rather cool.
What Theo has done here is take a normal A3 and fit it, virtually, with the bumpers and fenders of the Clubsport model. And there’s the recipe for this Audi RS3 Cabriolet. He’s also got all the RS details right, such as the chrome mirror caps and windscreen frame.
A production Audi RS3 Cabriolet could be powered by the firm’s 2.5 TFSI engine with over to 300 horsepower.
