Following yesterday’s reveal of the new M5 30th Anniversary Edition, or 30 Jahre Edition, BMW UK has now released the pricing and specs of the British market. Just like the U.S., Britain will get just 30 BMW M5 30th Anniversary Edition, each priced at £91,890.
For that you get an M5 finished in an exclusive Frozen Dark Silver metallic paint from BMW’s Individual series, rocking a set of 20-inch bi-colour M light-alloy wheels. 30 Jahre Edition badges and dark chrome accents adorn the exterior in various places hinting that this is one special M5.
Moving on inside you will find yourself surrounded with Individual Black Alcantara and Full Merino leather, complete with Alcantara Anthracite and dark aluminum trims, as well as ‘30 Jahre M5’ lettering on the front door sill finishers, and a plaque bearing ‘30 Jahre M5’ and ‘1/300’ inscription.
In terms of equipment, BMW M5 30th Anniversary Edition is fully loaded with Adaptive LED Headlights, Comfort Access with smart opener, Driving Assistant, lumbar support and split folding rear seats with additional 12 volt power sockets, and a harman/kardon surround-sound system as standard (1,200-watt Bang & Olufsen Advanced audio system is optional).
The cherry on the top of M5’s 3-th anniversary cake is a bespoke Competition Pack that boosts the output of the standard 4.4 liter b-turbo V8 engine to 600hp and peak torque of 700Nm. the engine delivers 28.5mpg and a 0 to 60 time of 3.9 seconds.
