Castrol oil’s latest promotional campaign brings us an awesome stunt with some properly fast machines taking on each other in pitch black. Okay, so it’s not pitch black as such, and the course is lit by lasers and other fancy lights. But it’s the first time we get to see Ken Block do his thing in this condition.

And he doesn’t disappoint. In Castrol Blackout Drift Challenge Ken Block races the light and other famous drivers in some serious supercars and runs rings around them, literally.

The drivers going head to head with Block include Augusto Farfus, Adrian Zaugg and Mike Rockenfeller, and the cars they drive are Lamborghini Aventador, Audi R8 and BMW M4. The course is laid out by laser which represents a new challenge for Block and tests his skills to the limit.
