As much as Jay Leno hates Ferraris, he loves Lamborghinis. He owns not one but two Miuras, and had them for over thirty years, and also possesses a Countach. Now with cars like these it is not a surprise that he needed a specialist to take care of them. That is how he met “Lambo-whisperer” Franco Barbuscia.
The Italian mechanic recently brought his private 1991 Lamborghini Diablo to the garage for Jay to look at. It is one of the most iconic Italian supercars of all time, and according to hard-core Lambo fans, the last of the proper Lamborghinis, because it is truly terrifying to drive fast!
Franco’s 1991 Lamborghini Diablo has been upgraded and tweaked, and features a new Kevlar clutch that addresses one of the main flaws of the original car. It is also finished in a beautiful white color which works surprisingly well on such a flamboyant car. The best feature of the car, however, is its awesome V12 soundtrack.
