You know how Dubai Police is so incredibly proud of their supercar patrol fleet? Well, they just took an Italian idea and ran wild with it. It was Lamborghini who first donated a supercar, a first-gen Gallardo, to the Italian Police. Now they have come up with a new car for the Carabinieri, based on the new Huracan.
Lamborghini Huracan Police Car was delivered to the Polizia di Stato by Lamborghini CEO Stefan Winkelmann himself.
Wrapped in the official Italian police livery, the Huracan five-0 is not a show car like the cars of Dubai Police. It will be used on regular basis for traffic duty and also on special occasions – events like the Mille Miglia or Targa Florio.
Mechanically, Lamborghini Huracan Police Car is a standard car, meaning it is powered by a 610 horsepower V10 engine mated to a dual-clutch 7-speed transmission and all-wheel-drive. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 320 km/h.
