While BMW is busy creating a bespoke MINI concept, a German tuner called Minitune is working on their own idea of what makes a MINI special. They are called Minitune, and they have come up with an upgrade package for the MINI Cooper S, the previous generation.

The first stage of upgrade for MINI Cooper S by Minitune is a styling kit especially designed and fabricated for the car, consisting of revised bumper with large air intakes at the front and a diffuser at the back, front splitter, rear spoiler, and side skirts.

The body kit is complemented with a set of 18-inch Motec Nitro single piece rims with Kumho tires finished in black, and smoked lights. There is an upgraded braking system as well, featuring EBC brake disks and red calipers, as well as uprated suspension by Koni.

The 1.6-liter turbo engine in MINI Cooper S by Minitune has received a boost from the standard 174 hp tune to 218 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The engine kit includes stainless steel sport exhausts with 200-cell sports catalyzer, optimized electronics, and high-performance cooling system.
