Following the new and mildly face-lifted A7 and S7, Audi revealed today an updated version of the RS7 high-performance variant. This is one of those mid-life facelifts that you really have to strain your eyes to see what’s changed. The upshot of it all is the front-end looks a bit sleeker than before.

You get revised air intakes in the front bumper combined with a new grille accented with matte aluminum, new matrix LED headlights which are of course optional, and some cool new colors. Interior changes, meanwhile, include revised instrument cluster, new paddle shifters, and updated Multi Media Interface with new features, plus a couple more Quattro badges.

The mechanicals of Audi RS7 Facelift are unchanged over the previous model, meaning you get a superb 4.0 liter bi-turbo TFSI V8 developing an astonishing 560 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. The power is distributed intelligently between all four wheels via an eight-speed transmission that helps the car average nearly 30 mpg, while enabling it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in under four seconds.

Prices for the 2015 Audi RS7 Facelift start from 113,000 Euro. As high as that is, there are a couple of nice but pricey options that many can’t do without – such as carbon ceramic brakes – so a well-specced RS7 can easily cost something like 130K.
