Lotus Exige LF1 Limited Edition Announced

Lotus Exige LF1 0 600x450 at Lotus Exige LF1 Limited Edition Announced

A lot of things might be wrong with Lotus at the moment, but their Formula One division has been sailing rather comfortably for over two seasons now. So the car making division decided to pay homage to the F1 boys by launching the limited edition Lotus Exige LF1.

The “celebration” of the F1 team by Lotus could also be interpreted as a Raikkonen diss, who after a very successful reason left Lotus and joined Ferrari, where he’s been struggling all season. In any case, the Lotus Exige LF1 is a very special car, limited to 81 units and featuring special exterior and interior appointments.

Underneath, the LF1 is a supercharged 3.5l V6 Exige S with 345 hp and 295 lbft (400 Nm) of torque. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 170 mph. What sets this model apart, on the outside, is a unique paint scheme.

Lotus Exige LF1 features a bespoke black and gold livery with red accents and matt gold 5-spoke 17”/18” front/rear cast alloy wheels. Each car comes with an individually numbered limited edition carbon fibre build plate and carbon fibre engine plate.

Inside, the LF1 comes with leather and technical fabric featuring black and gold design with gold contrast piping and stitching details, embroidered ‘LF1’ logos on headrests and car floor mats, and air conditioning. Parking sensors and heated seats are optional.

Exige LF1 also comes with a Formula 1 package which includes factory  and F1 headquarters tour for 2 people, discount merchandise, Romain Grosjean 1:2 scale replica helmet, Lotus F1 car key fob and USB stick.
