In the latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage the man reviews the fast and sporty family wagon, Volvo V60 Polestar. The car’s unique character brings out the entertainer side of Jay as he plans an elaborate test to see if kids are as excited about cars these days as they were back in the day.

So Jay goes to pick up a couple of unsuspecting kids and take them to school, but not before stopping by at Dunsfold, where Top Gear test track is located, for a couple of hot laps. The V60 Polestar’s blend of space and speed allows you to do that.

Volvo V60 Polestar is inspired by the firm’s wagon Touring cars of the yesteryear, powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine. It makes 350bhp and 369 lb-ft of torque, which translates into a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.0 seconds and a limited top speed of 155mph. The car has a Haldex four-wheel drive system and a large boot which make it quite versatile – a car for every opportunity.
