Mitsubishi Shogun Barbarian at Mitsubishi Shogun Barbarian Announced for the UK

Mitsubishi Shogun – Pajero to those of you outside the UK – is one tough son of a gun. And we don’t mean it is tough as an off-roader. It is tough because it refuses to die and soldiers on for years without any major visual or mechanical upgrade.

The SUV has just got a new version in the British market which comes with a few extra goodies and is supposed to spice things up a bit, called the Mitsubishi Shogun Barbarian. The odd name notwithstanding, the Barbo only comes as a short wheel base model whose main characteristics include short front overhang, upright windscreen, strong high flanks, flared wheel-arches and rear-mounted spare wheel.

As for what makes the Mitsubishi Shogun Barbarian worth the extra dosh, the list includes 20” gloss black / silver dual colour Le Mans alloy wheels, L200 Barbarian style leather interior with carbon inserts, DAB digital radio, colour coded spare wheel cover, and alloy pedal kit.

Prices for the Shogun Barbarian start from £31,999 for the manual and £33,684 for the automatic. The Commercial versions are priced at £33,449 and £35,134 respectively.
