Launching a new model with a special Edition 1 version is a Mercedes-Benz tradition. It is a good way of celebrating the birth of a new model while making more money by off it right off the bat. Smart, being a Daimler subsidiary, has now adopted this approach and announced the launch of ForFour Edition 1.
Smart ForFour Edition 1 marks the market launch of the new ForFour model introduced a while ago with new looks and improved underpinnings. It comes exclusively in graphite gray body while the safety tridion, a signature Smart feature, is painted in either lava orange or black.
Other highlights of Smart ForFour Edition 1 on the outside include a set of 16-inch black wheels, and the 10mm lowered suspension which has a nice effect on the car’s stance. The roof and the grilles are also blacked-out.
Inside the cabin, the Edition 1 comes with black and orange fabric seats, a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, special floor mats, and a 3.5-inch TFT instrument cluster. Notable features of this special edition model include auto climate control, top-notch stereo, leather gear knob and sport pedals.
