The magnificent Audi R8 is subject to another wheel treatment, this time by HRE Wheels. The R8 in question here is a rare GT variant which comes lots of carbon fiber and a beefier V10 engine than normal models. The titanium-colored car is fitted with a set of matching HREs.
The extensive use of carbon fiber in Audi R8 GT means the car is 100 kg lighter than its standard counterparts. When you combine that with the 560 horsepower of the 5.2-liter V10, the only result you can expect is blistering performance. Performance figures for Audi R8 GT read zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 3.6 seconds – top speed 320 km/h (198.84 mph).
What distinguished the GT visually is its carbon fiber aero kit which consists of a front spoiler lip and little winglets on the sides, side skirts, rear diffuser and a big fixed rear wing. Not to mention the side blades and mirror caps are also exposed carbon fiber. The interior too is drenched in this exotic material.
