Visitors to this year’s Pebble Beach Automotive Week from 14 August will be treated to a number of British debuts, including the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster. The latest in a long line of Vantage variants, the S Roadster is the ultimate expression of the baby Aston.

Powered by a 565 bhp AM28 6.0-litre V12 engine and boasting a top speed of 201 mph, Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster is the fastest open-top car the firm has ever made. Thanks to a new Bosch engine management, it is also very responsive and agile, making 62 mph from 0 in 3.9 seconds.

Along with Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster the British company will also display the virtual DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo at Pebble Beach. Designed for Gran Turismo 6 video game, this virtual concept features 800 imaginary horsepower. The full-size model at Pebble Beach will give you a good look at its design.

Other Aston Martin-related activities you can look forward to at Pebble Beach include exclusive events including private viewings of new Aston Martins with Design Director Marek Reichman and test drives of the marque’s current line-up of handcrafted high performance sports cars.
