Bugatti has taken this year’s Pebble Beach by storm, bringing to the show a historic display of all six Bugatti Legends models, debuting a new line of high-end fashion collection, and unveiling an all-new special edition Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse.

With only a handful of Veyrons still unsold, making interesting special editions seem like a good way of encouraging wealthy people to part with nearly $3 million and get one of these. The latest Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse special edition is called “1 of 1”, a name that is fairly self-explanatory.

1 of 1 means the color scheme on this Vitesse is totally unique and will not be repeated on future production models. Bought by a man from Singapore, this unique back and yellow Vitesse is inspired by a number of historic Bugatti models including Type 41 Royale, the Type 55 and the Type 44. In fact the car was presented at Pebble Beach next to an original Type 44.

Apart from the paint job, Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse “1 of 1” also features a unique front grille into which the owner’s initials “PL” are laser cut. Making this grille was a painstaking and meticulous task and took more than 200 working hours. Mercifully for Bugatti workers, the rest of the vehicle is standard Vitesse!
