A few weeks ago Lamborghini released a single teaser image of the new Huracan Super Trofeo, the racing version of the baby bull, announcing the start of track testing sessions. Now they’ve released a video showcasing the car on the track undergoing those tests, and giving us a better look at the awesome racing car.
Just as in the teaser picture, Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo test car here is wearing an army camouflage, disguising its gorgeous body until the official debut which will happen on August 15 at the Quail motorsport in Monterey.
It is not hard to imagine what sort of motorsport goodies Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo will be sporting. There ought to be large splitter at the front, chunky side skirts, flared arches to accommodate fat racing slicks, a big rear diffuser and a fixed rear wing. The reason you should care about this is because in due time Lamborghini will release a road-going version of the Trofeo with similar properties. That should be quite something.
