SR Auto Group’s Chinese partner LP Auto Gallery has come up with a unique wheel treatment for the McLaren 650S. The British super car gets a set of PUR 5IVE three-spoke wheels in gloss black whose unusual design give the 650 a bold new look.

SR Auto themselves have used these wheels once before on a sinister Mercedes CLS. For McLaren 650S the 5IVEs come in sizes 19×8.5 inch for the front and 20×11 inch for the rear. They haven’t mentioned any suspension adjustment, but the setup looks pretty much perfect.

The three-spoke wheels suit the Spider super car surprisingly wheel, adding a nice touch of sport to the McLaren’s rather stern design. They may now work on other cars though.

Most modified McLaren 650S models we’ve seen so far have received only a mild visual upgrade. That could be because the tuners are still getting to grips with the car’s technicalities, or because there isn’t  much room for improvement in that aspect, what with 650 horsepower, 647 Nm of torque, a 0-60 time of 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 204 mph.
