Mercedes-Benz at 2014 Pebble Beach: Highlights

Mercedes Pebble Beach 0 600x366 at Mercedes Benz at 2014 Pebble Beach: Highlights

Prior to the this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, we ran a report on the highlights of Mercedes-Benz lineup for the event. Now thanks to Mercedes-Benz USA we can bring you a wonderful gallery of those highlights. It’ll make you wish you were there!

As we mentioned in the previous report, the most prominent feature of Mercedes’ display at 2014 Pebble Beach was the restored 540 K Streamliner from the 30s. This supercharged super-coupe can be considered as the forefather of the SLS. It was joined on the lawn by a number of other classic models, including 540K Roadster, a couple of old SLs, and one of the oldest cars made by Daimler.

The concept lawn hosted a special display of the Mercedes SUV Coupe Concept, but it wasn’t the most important modern Mercedes at the show. That’d be the new S65 AMG Coupe which wowed the spectators by its unique blend of power, beauty, luxury, and royal majesty. The thing has more pomp than a Prussian king.

The Mercedes Vision Gran Turismo Concept was also one of the biggest attractions of the concept lawn. It’s not a real car, but there is a company who can convert your SLS to look like this car.
