Aston Martin’s bespoke department known simply as ‘Q’ will showcase the special capabilities of the department at this year’s Pebble Beach auto week with four bespoke models. These bespoke cars, prepared in collaboration with Los Angeles dealer Galpin Aston Martin, are based on the DB9 Volante, V12 Vantage S and Vanquish (Coupe and Volante).
The highlight of this Q by Aston Martin lineup is a Vanquish Coupe finished in Abor Orange and featuring a new kind of carbon fiber with deep holographic weave for the exposed parts. It comes with an Obsidian Black leather interior featuring helix carbon trims.
There is also a Vanquish Volante model which boasts an equally impressive Frosted Silver paint job complemented by graphite-finished 10-spoke alloy wheels. This one benefits from Chestnut Tan leather interior, with a styled fluted seat pattern is paired with authentic equestrian saddle leather.
As for the Q by Aston Martin DB9 Volante, it features an Ashen Blonde exterior teamed with blush pearl leather interior. Other highlights include Piano Ice Mocha facia and drawing inspiration from luxury furniture, a blanket stitch which runs the length of the central spine of the interior, and a pink Rhodachrosite stone.
Finally we have the V12 Vantage S Coupe by Q, which comes with Monterey Pearl front grille and rear diffuser, plus Obsidian Black interior punctuated with Vivid Purple leather details. Also included are a series of special carbon fiber details such as the rotary controls which are each hand wound from a single filament of carbon fiber.
