Just in time for the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Bugatti took the wraps off the sixth and final “Les Légendes de Bugatti” special edition series. The final edition is named after the founder of the brand, Ettore Bugatti, signifying its importance as the last special edition Veyron.
Bugatti Vitesse Legend “Ettore Bugatti” comes with a two-tone exterior inspired by the 1932 Type 41 Royale, featuring polished aluminum and clear-coated blue carbon fiber. The blend is complemented with a set of matching diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The interior features two types of leather for the first time in a Veyron, including natural brown (Brun Cavalier) and cordovan leather wrapping the steering wheel rim, gear lever, door handles, centre console armrest and door handle recesses, the switches in the door trims and in the roof module. Blue carbon fiber accents are also found in abundance here. Another highlight of the interior is the platinum-coated dancing elephant motifs.
Just like the other five Bugatti Vitesse Legend editions, the “Ettore Bugatti” is based on the Vitesse and therefore powered by a 1,200 horsepower engine. Also like the other Legends, this one’s limited to three units, each costing 2.35 million Euros.
