Australian street racers are chuffed to bits these days because local tuner Walkinshaw announced the launch of a new supercharger kit for the Holden Commodore family. Limited to 50 units, each featuring a commemorative plaque, this kit is good for up to 750 horsepower.

The main ingredients of Walkinshaw supercharger kit for Holden Commodore include Eaton Twin Vortices 2300 rotors, high flow injectors, water to air intercooler package, custom moulded heater hoses, and cast aluminum coil covers.

What’s more, it comes with Walkinshaw Performance injection moulded cold air intake package, heavy duty serpentine belt drive system utilizing Goodyear ‘Gatorback’ belt, 12” long intake runners, custom moulded intercooler hoses,  and self-contained oil system.

These mods, along with a number of other little changes, will boost the performance of the 6.0 liter V8 in the VE/VF series Commodore to 50 KW or 680 horsepower with 800 Nm of torque. Bolted on the 6.2 liter engine in the HSV E Series, the package results in 650 KW or 750 horsepower with 980 Nm of torque. The cost of the package is $24,490 AUD installed.
