Aston Martin has no new model in the pipeline anytime soon – at least not until they fully figure out where they stand with Daimler – so they are apparently preparing a new special edition Vanquish, just so they won’t turn up at 2014 Paris Motor Show empty-handed.

This little teaser they just released the unleashing of “Dark Forces” which probably means the new special edition Vanquish is either a Black Edition, or a Carbon Edition, or maybe even a Black and White duo:

So they may not be a brand-new model, but the launch of a new Aston, even if it’s just a tricked-out version of an existing model is always a cause for celebration. So let’s speculate a bit on what sort of features this new Vanquish might be getting.

We reckon there will new bare carbon components hanging off the car’s front and rear, giving it a more edgy and aggressive look. New and exclusive paint jobs might be on order, plus new wheel designs in dark colors. Inside various new leather and stitching patterns will be available from the ‘Q’ department, while more carbon fiber will be used to garnish the dashboard.

While they’re at it, we hope Aston also give the Vanquish a healthy dose of extra oomph, just because.
