In the four days since we first laid eyes on the new Mercedes AMG GT there has been a plethora of different renderings and manipulated images, each trying to showcase a future variant of the car. And, well, since you guys seemed to like them, here’s some more!
So we’ve already see the AMG GT in Black Series dress and also looked at a possible Roadster variant. These renderings here work on the same level, one previewing a heavily tricked-out GT featuring lowered suspension and aero kit, the other a simple and honest Roadster with a cloth roof.
The thing is, Mercedes AMG GT Roadster has a very slim chance of production. The company’s officials have made it abundantly clear they have no plans for this model, what with all the open-top models in their current lineup. The Black Series in the works though, and in fact we may have already caught a glimpse of it testing at the track.
As for the standard Mercedes AMG GT, just to recap, the new sports car comes with a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine in two power outputs: 462 Ps in the base model and 510 in the S-Model. The GT will hit the showrooms in early 2015.
