Paris Preview: Citroen Divine DS Concept

Citroen Divine DS Concept 0 600x356 at Paris Preview: Citroen Divine DS Concept

Paris Motor Show wouldn’t be complete without at least a couple of French concept models. So while Peugeot has been working on a new Exalt for the show, Citroen was busy developing a divine thing, literally. They’ve come up with a concept car called Divine DS!

It’s a bit of a leap to call a car divine, especially as it is a rather ugly hatchback. But Citroen Divine DS Concept previews the new design direction for the company’s celebrated DS division. So in a way, it is kind of supernatural.

Citroen Divine DS is a four-door hatchback with interesting features such as the lack of a rear window which is replaced by a high-res camera, a completely new face with a new signature grille that will be featured on all future DS models, and a futuristic cabin designed by Swarovski featuring silk, leather, crystals and carbon fiber.

This Divine Citroen is powered by a turbocharged direct-injection 1.6 THP petrol engine developing 270 bhp and 330 Nm of torque.
