When we first heard about the Zenos E10 project we thought here’s another optimistic engineer who thinks he’s got what it takes to play with the big boys in the sports car market. Give them a few months and they’ll be on their way out. But we were terribly wrong. Zenos is very much here today and they’re created a cracking little car.
Confident of the success of their E10, Zenos hosted a track day recently in which the guys from Autocar got to drive the car and evaluate its performance. Don’t let that shabby interior put you off. This is just a prototype:
One of the reasons Zenos E10 is expected to be a success is that it is the brainchild of former Lotus and Caterham engineers. These guys know what they’re doing. Another reason has to do with the fact that it is just a great sports car. With a carbon-plastic construction and a powerful 2.0 liter engine, the E10 is capable of astonishing performance. And it states from just £24,995.
In terms of value for money, this car makes BAC Mono look like a rip-off.
