We have already seen the Porsche 991 GT3 on gold wheels when HRE got hold of the German sports car. Now let’s check it out on a set of gold ADV1 Wheels because, first, the GT3 is nice to look at, and second, to see which wheel maker has better taste.
To be really honest with you, we don’t like gold wheels, especially on a sports car like the 991. We think they are terribly ostentatious and therefore very uncool. But that’s our opinion and one that nobody cares about!
Around the world the popularity of gold wheels and gold cars is on the rise. So the guys at ADV1 have been clever to choose the Porsche 991 GT3 for this project, as it is one of the hottest cars on the planet right now and will surely grab a lot of attention with those shiny rims under it. They measure 20-inch and according to ADV1 they are finished in matte bronze, but that color looks gold to us.
On a side note, Porsche 991 GT3 is powered by a hotted-up version of the flat-six engine in the 991 Carrera with 470 horsepower. It is PDK-only, which has caused quite a row among hard-core Porsche fans, and comes with electric steering and rear-wheel-steering systems.
